Threads of Thought....

Well I've been busy the last two weeks and my shoulders, neck, and hands are certainly feeling it! I love working with tiny or tedious things and for the last little while I have been doing some thread crochet. I'm preparing for my next promotion which will be ready very shortly... should I spill the beans?... hmmm... maybe not just yet... but suffice to say there will be new jewellery available very soon!

So I've worked out a few small patterns that I'm still trying out or polishing up... I have ideas running around my head about combining the thread crochet with chainmaille... haven't quite worked it out yet... but it's there in the back of my mind!

Lately, I have been really feeling the weather and my body hasn't been completely cooperative when I decide I want to do something. Perhaps Newfoundland isn't quite the place to be living with Fibromyalgia, but I can't think of anywhere I'd rather live! There are lots of days that I just don't have the dexterity to use a small hook and thread so I've been working on a shawl that a dear friend has asked for. At least I can use one of my larger ergonomic hooks in a larger size of yarn. I can even get away without my reading glasses most of the time this way! It's a break from the small work under a magnifier!

As I've been updating the site and trying to add more products, I'm certainly feeling the frustration of having a "free site"! This little endevour of mine is still in it's infancy and I'm not ready to doll out the cash yet to have an upgraded "premium" site yet. I really need sales to get that into the works. Or even donations... either way, I need to know that I have a steady influx of cash to be able to do so. ...SO... I guess the FYI here is going to be that I will be updating the site as I need to but it will be within the limitations of what is available to me at this point. This means that I will probably end up condensing some things into similar listings and you will be able to give me particulars in a comment box for your order.

Today I listed more of my bracelets for sale and some new kitchen accessories.
